With Video & TV Cast you can browse through the web and stream or cast any video you want on your Fire TV. Just navigate to your favorite website and send the embedded video with a single tap to your Fire TV. The discovered video will be shown below the browser. A tap on the video link will send it to your Fire TV immediately.

* NOT SUPPORTED Videos: Flash video, Google Play movies, Netflix, Amazon and HBO and other DRM protected videos web-videos, online-movies, livestreams and live-tv shows.

* Please test your websites and videos in the free edition! If casting fails, upgrading will NOT make it work magically.

* The app does NOT mirror your full Android device, it just pushes the video part of a website to your Fire TV.

* To play mp4, m3u8 or other videofiles directly on Fire TV just enter or paste the full video-url in the browser address bar.

* Sometimes it is necessary to play the video on your Android device before the link gets detected for casting.

* If the connection does not work, please try to restart your Android device, Fire TV and wifi router.

    Says Video and TV Cast. You have to somehow link an Url to a video to cast it. Okay. Only it's way to cumbersome to do so. NOT user friendly. THEN, if you want to Cast to TV directlyfrom your phone (as advertised), you have to pay an additional 4.99 for the add on. What a rip-off!

    I love it. Been trying to figure out how to do this for a long time. I bought wires, nothing worked until this. The only complaint I'm trying to figure out is that some of my homemade videos are sideways and small on the screen, but others are ok. I think it's how I hold the phone when recording. Front or back lens, horizontal or vertical.

    Unfortunately I had to uninstall this app because it supposed to connect with easy. Not true with my device. I tried as directed to no avail.

    Good start. Yes, sometimes it takes a few attempts to load, and the layout could be a bit better, but i still love this app. Give me photo casting (photos from my phone gallery) and it will be a five star app!

    Y'all it works, it just involves more manual work. For example, where some apps would have you play the video and that's enough, you have to play the video and click "Videos found - tap here to select videos" at the bottom of the screen to play the video. It works perfectly, I'm glad I took a leap of faith and just bought it. Good use of my money cuz I've been looking for an app like this that actually works!

    I bought the app for playing VUDU to my kindle fire but the app can't find the embedded VUDU videos. Update below: Thank you for the reply. Since Kindle fire has apps for all other streaming services except for VUDU I haven't had a need for the app for anything else. The paid app functions well. The free preview version was useless. It is a web browser and somehow it slings video content only to the Firetv. You can use your fire remote to control the video after it is sent to the screen. It is a cool app. I appreciate the reply. I will write a better review when I find something useful to do with it. XD

    Streamed a full concert tonight from this app on my Samsung to my firestick as an emergency backup since none of the firestick browsers would stream it. It was flawless & easy to setup. Gladly payed the $5 especially knowing I will likely use this again for future web concerts! Thank you!

    Very unhappy purchase for me. I downloaded this app to use with my Firestick to cast from my phone. The app is not user friendly at all, and only worked the first time I tried it. I feel duped.

    Very disappointed...will not cast simple pic files or video. I downloaded app for fire stick on tv...then it directed me to playstore to pay $4.95 for the app on my phone. I don't know who is profeting more from this app the producer or amazon. I will be more careful in the future.

    Well I paid for this app I still haven't been able to use it and it's like I keep getting the runaround I have everything on this TV and for some reason I can't even speak to someone I like it is people messaging me of a messenger which to me is very just unprofessional

    Thanks for letting me pay to get an Invalid App/Error notification saying it was installed from a non-allowed source (i installed from Google Play) and says it may be a copy, cracked, or otherwise invalid. It's warning me that using the app (that I paid for) may expose me to malware and I will not get support, the latest updates or features. Recommends for my safety i download from "The Official Google Play Store" (which is exactly where I got it) THANKS FOR TAKING MY MONEY THOUGH!! 🤬

    Update: I was able to use this app without a companion app on Firestick 4k. Still works great 5th star granted 😊 This was my go to for streaming media from the interwebs to my TV. It worked great. However, I upgraded to the Firestick 4k and now this app is not available. Will it be coming soon? Not sure what to use now. 😥 4 stars.
