  • Where is Chromecast support? Hard to give any video app anything but 1 star if I can't get content to the TV! I'd happily install the app from the nightmare that is Amazon underground if it meant Chromecast cast support
  • there's a delay in audio when connected to Bluetooth device. Lag when fast forward.

  • The app is good, but stability of service needs to be improved, meaning if I am watching it on my phone and go to another screen, I shouldnt have to go through the selection process.   • I joined Amazon Prime and so far so good. At the present the overall new content is pretty low and much of the stuff is old I wish that changes soon.

  • Since Amazon wants to force you to use their gizmos, this doesn't work with Chromecast. So, you either have to do some clever work around to watch anything on a big screen or do without. Garbage!
  • Content is good. But the app need fixes. For starters, the offline videos always skip 10 second every minute during playback. Very annoying.

  • It's a pretty in general, it has interesting series like grand tour and the man in the high castle among others but it would make it the perfect app if it could cast into Chromecast, smart TV or other devices because it is not very comfortable to watch series or movies in your phone.

  • Ok app, decent series available. The most frustrating thing is the lack of support for Chromecast and the active blocking of mirror screen which leaves me to consider canceling my trial at the end.
  • Why don't you include the imdb rating for every movie? And why are you showing some random video when app starts? And add lock feature to video player which actually locks the video position like mx player. Add "skip intro" like Netflix. When watching a tv/Anime series, for each episode i've to manually skip the intro part and that's killing my experience.

  • One of my favorite tv/movie apps. Really great selections, lots of original titles, and if they don't have a movie, or show, available to watch through them, they usually have options to rent or buy it. You can also subscribe to most movie channels, monthly, for less than my cable company charges. Also, all of my purchased movies and shows from this app, as well as from Google Play store, are available to view in my Prime Video library. I couldn't sync any other movie watching app, such as Google Play Movies & TV, Google Play Family Library, or Movies Anywhere, to have all of my purchases available together, due to licensing restrictions and so on. All the people in my house can access them on their own devices, as well. Only drawback is that content can take some time to download and the app freezes if you try to download too much at once.

  • Pay for the Prime Membership. It is well worth the money! The amount of streaming content included in your membership rivals Netflix! Not to mention, there are plenty of older or obscure films that you can find and pay a small fee to rent or own electronically. Prime is where it's at!

  • I love how easy it is to find my shows. I find it way easier to use then Netflix. Especially when I'm in a hurry trying to find something to watch on my lunch break. Also love the huge selection of current movies. Thanks Amazon for the great selection of entertainment right at my fingertips. Wherever I am. On all of my devices.
  • Movies in comparison with Netflix is old. Secondly it does not facilitate with new Bollywood movies which is unexpected. Hopefully this get resolve and movie like SANJU , PARMANU...which are quiet old can be published

  • While the app itself is good.. I've noticed snags, lags and freezes in the feed while watching videos. I've checked.. but the problem isn't with the Wi-Fi connection.. it's actually with the relay itself. In spite of this.. I still feel the app is good and the service , value for money as its part of the prime membership.

  • This app is awesome! The only reason why it is not 5* is because it frequently crashes on my Samsung Tab S3. Other than that, it's great. Far better deal than Hulu and I get Hulu for free.
  • Doesn't support HD playback on devices capable of handling 4K playback. The app is great in other areas but the forced limitations make it a terrible experience.
  • The sign in button doesn't work I hit it ~200 times pretty hard and it never did anything and now my finger hurts (my fault). In the middle writing that it opened randomly and took me to a black screen Edit: I have to reset it before every use or else it won't work. It never misses an opportunity to be annoying like the fact that it does support split screen but pauses as soon as you touch the other app The textbox hints in the sign is fields are strangely proprietary and can be selected, making any autofill or pasting impossible, forcing you to use manual text entry edit: the sign in fields do support pasting it's just super finniky and will actually take you 5 minutes per field I really think I could make a better version of this on mit app inventor

  • I love amazon. With prime I've been able to pretty much find anything I'm looking for to watch, or rent (kid stuff too!) with new episodes available the morning after they air on tv. If you're a prime member, there is no reason you shouldn't have the prime video app.

  • Buggy and poorly designed. How does a video app not remember the last thing you watched and take you there? I also get lots of 5 second rewinding, where the video will jump back.
  • I would of given it 5 stars however a recent update has crippled the apps ability for me to mirror my screen to my t.v. i get Google and Amazon are not the best of friends. Amazon didn't include chrome cast support. But now you make it so video won't mirror to my t.v. either making me get your fire stick. Not pleased at all Amazon.

  • While a fine app in concept, I have yet to use this app without encountering glaring problems. From videos failing to play despite multiple download attempts, to the controls being locked out until you exit video playback, to the app closing out without reason, halting downloads at 99%, or deleting my entire downloaded library of purchased content without prompt while the app is closed, this app needs serious work to be remotely comparable to streaming services like VRV, Netflix, or Hulu. I should note that in addition to the player controls being locked out mid-playback, using the time jumps (which are admittedly conveniently intervaled at 10 seconds forward or back) has a tendency to misalign the soundtrack from the video playback, resulting in sounds occuring seconds after the corresponding visual. In summation, a great app in concept that has been poorly executed.
  • The high pitched alert practicaly blow my brains out since I always use ear buds and you never know when to expect these alerts. It is ear drum shattering! I wish the process looked more like Netflix, much harder to chose movies here. Also, it doesn't save where I left off, so I always have to go back and look when I close down. So many updates could be made to make it better. I suggest mimicing Netflix. There's is simple and easy to use, doesn't blow your eardrums out and one more thing, this App shuts off the sound when I get an alert on my phone!!!! Lots of stalling on this App. I love PRIME, but the movie App leaves so much to be desired. I find it interesting that instead of copying what works elsewhere, they try to re-up each other. Why, when what works, simply works!!!
