    Pay to win ranked. If you ever want to play a "free" game that makes you spend money just to be normal this is for you. Do you want to lose every ranked game you have because you didn't spend 50$ on boosters? This is the game for you. Want to get your ass beat by computer opponents who know what you draw? This is the game for you. I've seen better ranked matching in CSGO.

    I will change to 5 stars when this problem is fixed. I tried updating first... Wouldn't Update. Then I uninstalled and reinstalled which it installed but it won't download the "additional data" when you open the game. I've been trying to play this game for 2 months now cause I love this game but this is bulls*i*... I have PLENTY of space for the game and additional information so why won't it download!?!?! I tried millions of times and also it shouldn't take 12hrs to download 1.3gigs of data then at the end have an "error" occur... PLEASE HELP ME I REALLY WANNA PLAY THIS GAME AGAIN!!!!!

    Was excited for the Knights of the frozen throne and was looking forward to play a death knight class. Instead all I got was "death knight" cards that any class can play. What this means is that you get retarded combo's like a death knight priest deck, or death druid decks. This is pure laziness from the developers. Don't waste your time on this game. It has redefined the meaning of pay to win. Sure you can play for free, but good luck winning against people that have either played from the beginning or have spent more money than you. The amount of time you have to put in playing this game for free, and still be competitive is more time than anyone who works for a living has time for. Uninstalling this game and walking away. I recommend you do the same.

    Great game, definitely worth the 5stars, however I am facing a small problem with my phone probably. When I get into game using the phone data it crushes... Any ideas? It's not happening via Wi-Fi. Xperia XA

    A pay to win concept. It's free , but if you don't want to be fresh noob meat for the system that is implemented here. Pay to win. Pay to become the best player in the game. Put a million dollars into this game so you can just beat everyone you play. Good game if you are willing to put alot of money into it. You can however acquire good cards over time for free, but it will take a very long time.

    Lately the game is extremely laggy on my Galaxy S8 Plus. I have tried reinstalling and emptying cache etc. It's stored on internal and I have 30gb of storage left. So I'm not sure why it's like this but it's basically unplayable on my mobile.

    You guys need to check your game out.. Mage has a deck combo with infinite 0 mana cost fireballs even if you clear the board of minions and everything.. Mage just needs to hit mana turn 10 and infinite fire balls to get you from completely in the lead to a loss

    A very greedy and dishonest company who are only in for the money. The matchmakings are absurdly and utterly rigged, especially in the arena. I'm done, not a cent more or even my time will I spend in this piece of junk.

    WARNING! Storage hog. Low memory? Don't install. It would have been fine, if it didn't tell you you had no more space when you're 3/4 done downloading the 1.3 gb data. Completely wasted a freaking day. Also, it had come to my attention that it doesn't overwrite data after updates, so you would end up uninstalling and reinstalling, hence the 10 mil dl's. But, hey! I think this game is good, just not for me I guess. Sticking with other card strategy games that I can ACTUALLY transfer to sd card. :3

    Being a long time card game player I was really excited to give this one a try. It is totally unplayable. It seems like every turn I have to wait forever for my CPU enemy to finish talking trash. There are several completely scripted fights where your deck and the enemies deck are sorted so that you cannot win, and there is no way to win (keep in mind the whole idea is that you shuffle your deck each game). I just started a game where the enemy can completely heal himself every turn with no cost. Awful game top to bottom. I'll stick with MTG.

    Pay-to-win masquerading as free-to-play. You need to purchase packs upon packs in the hopes of getting good cards. Useless cards are recycled for dust to make new cards. Conversion efficiency is 10%. Also, there is region lock. Choose the wrong region, and you won't be able to play with friends. Switch region, and you start from scratch.

    Huge fan of Blizzard games but this one was a big dissapointment. Gameplay too simple therefore not engaging enough. And it weighs 2.1GB!

    Fix the match making system. I just joined and i haven't won since. I know that my opponents have better cards than me, but this game does that on purpose.

    This is a comment for new and free to play players please read. 1. This game takes time to have a big collection and people demanding to only pay for cosmetics is stupid..do you go to a store selling magic the gathering cards and tell them to give you all the cards for free and pay only for sleeves or something?? Also people demand for more free content currently they give you about 3-4 legendaries ghe first day as a new player by doing the some quests adventures etc. 2 those of you saying that you are matched with better decks yeah that can happen in real time playing cards with friends who pay more money in third decks or more time but my point here is that people invest their dust in net decks and that's ok because they like them. Blizzard realeased a legendary that gives you a random deck to play and those decks a not that bad especially if you are a new player these decks instantly have tactic and a lot of legendaries to play with until you get a decent collection. I don't say that the game is perfect but it's is not pay to win it is pay to get the cards you want faster duh...but an advanced player Vs you if you play the same deck you have the same chance of winning...sorry for the very long comment but you have to understand that all cards games need time and if you want to make things faster you have to pay like real life hope I helped you :)

    Review will change to 5 star when they fix the app. Download it, then download the additional data. Can play one game, maybe two if I'm lucky, then next time I go into app it says "we can download in the background" but nothing shows up to download. Have Uninstaller and reinstalled multiple times, never fixes the issue. Tried support on the site and it sucks... Thank you for replying, but I have tried both of those multiple times.

    Yall need to fix the timer. It's stupid that it last longer for idiots that rush all their move until the end. If there's a particular timer, the turn needs to end at the end of the count not until the moves are finished out, battlecries and such but it should cut it off. It's waste time over all. What's the benefit?

    It's all pay to win... I was winning a game and my opponent used a card that restores him to full health if he has no duplicates in his deck, which he didn't and he was then able to win. That card is way over powered. Only reason I play hearthstone is because it's a substitute for "magic the gathering"

    Pay to win game. You need to buy packs and hipe to get good cards otherwise you dont stand a chance against someone that has all the game cards that has already paid. Even if you do pay its very RNG. Unlike Magic you only can only have 2 of the same card which adds greatly to the RNG

    In order for you to actually have fun you have to spend lots of money. And still you wont be on the top 50% of players. You have to constantly buy new cards and the old ones you bought before wont be able to use them in the main ranked mode.

    I can't reviewing properly as it refuses to find me a game. I deleted almost ever other game on my phone to download this and then I press I'm new wait 5 mins for anything to happen and it just tells me it can't find a game. I have searched for a game at least 5 times and still no luck. Please respond ASAP and help me fix the issue. I will submit a better review if I can get it to work. Thx blizzard for overwatch tho. That's a great game. Anyway please help.

    This is a perfect example of how pay to win destroys games. If your starting off fresh, be prepared to get slaughtered. Unless you spend lots of money out the gate, or grind your way through countless loses.

    Fun game, however, if you want to win at the higher levels then expect to pay. You will need more than the basic cards and earning cards through playing alone is a slog and simply takes too long. Yet, as I mentioned, the game itself is intriguing with plenty of strategy and excitement.

    The new runestone currency is nothing but bad for players and greed for Blizzard. Ruined the game for me. The mini expansions were already a bad enough cash grab, but they've gone too far this time. I won't be spending a single dollar on this game again.

    This game is fun and all but it does get pricey. Like the new pack that came out, it had a bunch of awesome cards but its $70. It also sucks how everytime there's an update I have to uninstall the game and then re-install the WHOLE game.

    really fun, many game modes, just noticed is getting a bit complex over the years, like you play a card that gives you cards and summon other mobs and reacts to stuff, so many things by just playing a card.

    I like battlegrounds I also like playing demons so today I was lucky enough to get those in the selection of choices and when lord jaraxxus came up (give your demons +1/+1) I though excellent. 8 turns later, not a single demon of any tier was available! It's all this naga rubbish and I know it's a new suit but not everyone wants it rammed down their throats!

    New and reworked battlegrounds pass forces you to use real money in order to get all benefits and locks you to a very limited hero pool. Luckily it also forces you to uninstall the game. Goodbye Hearthstone.

    Game is almost unplayable. Bugs everywhere that crash your game and it can never reconnect in time so you lose a tonne of games due to disconnect. Play on pc unless you want to pull you hair out with this buggy mess.

    Can't balance hero powers so you make armor tiers. Then the armor tiers aren't even balanced correctly. Then you have the gall to say that making it impossible for f2p players to select from 4 heroes is fine, because the goal is to make all the heroes balanced. You can't even achieve that, but even if you could, selecting from 4 heroes just offers more variety. Your normal game mode is miserable to play as a f2p user and now you make your actually good game mode half as f2p friendly.

    If you asked me how the game was 5 years ago, I would shout endless praises. But power creep has been its demise. The cards now are too strong, the speed of which people can kill you is too high, the interaction between players is drastically minimised, the viable exploration for creating totally unique decks is damaged by rigid and overly specific card design, the player base is toxic, and the cost is absurd. I will never play this game again, and I discourage anyone else from doing so too.

    Great game, cross platform :) What I also really love, is the fact they transitioned from having to buy adventures to get cards to every card from an expansion is available to everyone out there. All you have to do is play and grind a little. With the new expansion you get one free legendary, and since the update before, you can't get double legendaries until you got all of them from an expansion. Blizzard is steering hearthstone in a great direction.

    Uses a lot of battery, harder to play several cards in a turn (rip miracle) but most importantly it takes too much space. Especially during an update, i lt seems its downloading 10gb of files before compressing them. Somehow 2gb of leftover space isnt enough for the update which takes up 100mb
