Battlevoid: First Contact is a free real-time (RTS) space strategy game with roguelike game play features. Set in a universe, where 3 other species and an unknown threat are nearby, you are in command of the best defense humans have left. Take command of the space station named Battlestation, build your own weapons and fleet, research new technology and order reinforcement starships. Your every decision will culminate into one epic last battle, where your swift decisions will decide if a human colony is saved. Unlike any other tower defence game out there!

    Seems nice but 6euro for the full game is quite a big number. And sadly it's an InApp buy. I rather pay it directly upfront.

    Too hard with very limited choices Only a few paths to surviving the first carrier wave and those depend on getting lucky with the random technology upgrades. You will always lose at the first carrier wave unless you get very specific tech upgrades, which are randomly determined. Needs further balancing before worth buying.

    Only have access to one level. There's no defined way to beat it and on top of that they deliberately cockblock you from 90% of the game obviously excluding the tutorial. Seemed promising but ultimately disappointed

    Better than expected Having bought this game after having bought BugBytes second title, I expected their free game to play in comparison. While not as extensive as Harbinger, first contact has plenty of depth and is worth checking out for the price of free.

    Deeply frustrating. Research unlocks random upgrades and you'll be able to buy maybe two of them before the boss wave. They're the wrong upgrades and you die. Rinse and repeat. Guns don't lead their target so all the slow turrets are worthless.

    Way too hard Options are so very limited early game that it doesn't even feel like I have anything I can do to influence the outcome
