Description

1941 is an Android strategy board game based on the conflicts of World War II between the Axis powers (Germany / Japan) and the Allies (Russia / UK / America). 1941 is very similar to the popular board game Axis & Allies®.

1942 has come! New features include 3 new units, buildable factories, a more complex map, strategic bombing, shore bombardment and more! 1942 is available for local and online play, and there is no additional cost, it's included in the purchase price.

This legendary war is carried out over 57 land territories and 48 sea zones, and includes 9 different units like infantry, tanks, bombers and battleships. Conquer the enemy and claim victory by destroying their armies and capturing their capital cities!

Local play in 1941 supports 5 players over two teams, in pass and play format combined with an advanced AI if desired. It has been exclusively designed and developed for Android devices including medium to high end phones and tablets, with crisp graphics and an intuitive touch interface.

    I really find this to be a very well done installment of one of my favorite franchises. My buds and I really enjoy playing on the board but set up can take 10-15 mins and games last days. This way we can get best out of 5 in less than 12 hours. I really love Axis and Allies. I am hoping the staff can start putting Battle of the Bulge, D-Day, Guadalcanal; but most of all 1914. Please please email me if you are working on any of those. I cant wait.

    If you love A&A this is the game for you Love this game, plays well and has a nice look to it. Great time killing game. Would love to see some alternate maps like some other similar games but the gameplay is second to none in the play store

    How can 1 infantry take out 10 tanks, Germany takes Russia on first move. Horrible A I advantage, it rolls hits on every roll. No chance to defend. Save your money and buy the real axis and allies.

    Great Job. This has to be one of the coolest remake board games I've seen on Android yet. Huge fan of the Drisk. Hope to see the same quality put into one of my favorite games.

    This has been the best game I have ever downloaded. I can play offline, the AI has gotten better over time. Would like to see more ability to play others online and this could get huge just because it is so nicely done. I must have 1000 hours playing this and will have 1000 more. Excellent!

    This is exactly like Axis and Allies, love this game. I see a lot of people trashing the dice rolls in comments, but I say stategize around it. It makes the game more fun. I love to play a single country, and let the AI play the rest to see how well I can do. I have lost, but not once I see how the strategy goes. I have even won playing only Russia against everyone, and have won. Smarts and persistence go a long way.

    AI needs improvement But AI needs a lot of improvement, and would also like to see other modes in multiplayer and can a 1942 version be made? One thing I don't get is why the ai doesn't take advantage of delaying tactic, just leave one infantry on a lost territory and retreat the main army. The Soviets frequently lot Moscow because of this. Japan seems to ignore the rich yet undefended Pacific and attacks land that have a worth of 0, why would Japan want Siberia instead of marching strait on to Caucuses? And the Soviets fail...

    Best Strategy Game I used to play the board game. The other players (including myself) are now married with children and moved away. But with a very special thanks to the devoloper, i can now CONQUER THE WORLD AGAIN!!

    awesome game! One of the most engaging games I have played on Android. Be great to have a slightly more difficult AI and some more game options like secret weapon development and strategic bombing. Keep up the good work though!

    Great game This is an awesome remake. I used to play 1942, so I'm still learning a bit about the 1941. It would be great if there was an in game reference showing unit capabilities (cost, range, etc). Here is the one thing I can't figure out. If I have an aircraft carrier with one fighter on it, the planes move two spaces to attack, but there is no option to also move the carrier with the attack. This is needed to land another fighter that might be flying say 3 or 4 spaces over water and needing a place to land

    Nicely Done Detailed graphics. Game AI fair for a mobile device. Unit movement can be tricky for smaller screened devices. Plays on Vanilla Rules (Original) Axis & Allies. Nice TripleA pocket variant.

    So when i got this game I was excited and very happy to play it until I realized there's no tutorial well I couldn't find one or it and the buttons for buying troops is so small it makes me regret getting this game now,please make the buttons to purchase units on mobile larger.

    Great game but... Great game, but there's a few things I either couldnt find or is just not included... First is that you cannot build factories.. this bothered me a little seeing how I play the board game a lot but it did not effect my enjoyment of the game... And secondly I just have a question, is this game compatible for iOS and can we play against others who use iOS instead of Android? My brother just got a new iPhone. I didn't want him buying it if we couldn't play against each other

    Worth it. Having fun so far but... Germany really needs to start with a factory in Italy. Loose that one transport in the Med and you can't hold Africa. Kinda lame. Maybe add the option to buy factories?

    Don't be fooled like I was. This game is nothing like Axis ans Allies. Developers and their friends must have written all the positive reviews. This game sucks and has no instructions on how to play. It is nothing like Axis and Allies. It really pisses me off when I'm dupped into spending cash. I would love to beat the hell out of the developers.

    Totally worth it Great game that upholds the integrity of the board game. Some things aren't exactly the same but for the most part it's very well put together. The controls are simple and very well thought out, there are even tutorial videos explaining how to play. I'd like to see a chat function so we can interact with our opponents and a couple more tweaks to multiplayer but definitely worth the money. I'll be keeping this on my phone for a while to come. Well done!

    Great Multiplayer Love the app its a great way to kill my weekly 6 hour Friday commute home. If the AI could be improved, it would be even better. Multiplayer is a blast! We need to grow the community! :-)

    Very good game. a little frustrating until you figure out the controls. units will bunch up and you can't choose which ones (or how many of which unit you want to send) simply triple tap the unit stack and a unit selection window will pop up. if its tanks you want to send but you only want to send one, triple tap the tanks and another window will pop up. select one tank and then tap the check mark of both windows and move one tank. rinse and repeat. works best on a high end tablet.

    Great game. With future updates it'll be even better Very good version of Axis and Allies. I'm having great fun with it. It's just takes a little getting used to with playing this on mobile but is a quick learn. The online component needs some work. There isnt an open challenge system where it matches you up with someone else automatically from what i've seen. If your into A&A then you owe it to yourself to check it out. If your new to A&A and want to get into this it's probably the best way. I am going to buy a tablet to play it on as well.

    Online is glitched. I was playing, then exited the app and 5 minutes later i try going back and none of the online options are avle to be pressed, its not even giving me the option of logging into my google account after i tried reinstalling

    Best turn based strategy game of all!!! Yes its the best fun I've had since the bord game and the best part of the tablet version is it doesn't take 30 minute to set up your men.

    The other players kind of stink. They quit matches as soon as they face a little adversity. If you join a COMPLETE world domination game, don't leave. I always stay until the end, win or lose so as not to ruin the fun of the victor. This would be a 5 star game if the other players weren't quitters.

    Been playing the game for several months now. Multiplayer is decent from what I've seen but I don't really play it much anyways. The only problems with the game all around are the dice rolls, which are okay but could really be improved, and the AI which is decent but it just makes alot of mistakes. It's an alright game other than that. I'd really like to see 1940 and 1914 versions added, that would be a dream come true.

    Fun Very fun game. Fairly simple once you get the hang of it, but long games and exciting tactics and battles keep it fun throughout each play. However, I would love to see more of the Axis and Ally editions in the game selection phase. As I understand, 1941 is a simplified version of the game, and I would love to be able to play the more complex ones with the press of an arrow. Any chance on seeing that in the future?

If additional maps or versions were added to the game as optional DLC, I'd be willing to pay for them. Bugs/crashes have been relatively rare for me and in the event that something does happen, the autosave keeps too much from being lost. The AI is admittedly not very bright but still pretty good for a cheap mobile game. This is easily my favorite mobile game.

    I very much love this game , been playing for 15 years ... this version is good , is there a PC version , my only complaint , It sucks that starting complexes cant build unlimited plus you cant build new complexes at all and the pad gets all jitterbug when trying to ( one at a time it seems ) place purchased units at the end of each turn whilst your trying to drop em and the camera moves all herky jerky other than that kewl beans blast from the past & now its on me phone =)

    Love the game guys, but would love to be able to message the player your playing, discuss tactics etc. Keep up the good work. One issue is on a few games and a current game I'm playing the game just fails and closes the app if I attempt to select any unit, very frustrating as it was a very close game and will have to be abandoned

    Love this app, I'm really hoping a future update adds 1940 2nd edition. I'd even welcome an update that required you purchase that as an expansion.
