    Buffering issues are horrible. Other than app is great. Watch for 2 mins then will buffer for 20 secs to a minute rinse and repeat. Lucky to watch half an episode without buffering. Definitely not my connection either....

    The only thing that doesn't freeze up are the ads. I have to stop and restart the app over and over because the show buffers and freezes multiple times per episode. FIX THIS ISSUE

    I've just redownloaded crunchy roll after hearing about a new update, and the thing that really needs to be fixed hasn't been done. The ads on this app on mobile divides are terrible, they're always at the start middle and end and I don't mind that, it's just that they keep repeating over and over and won't stop. This ps4 advertising replayed five times in one go, please fix the add issue.

    The Ads platform is a mess. I loved this when I was broke, obsessed, and unwilling to torrent when I didn't have cable but Toonami had started a movement that was still strong. I don't have the same level of interest as I did then, and the app is blocking me because the ads platform is broken on my device. I can still trick the thing into working properly but I have no idea why it locks up so much

    I used to love this app but they make it nearly impossible for you to get premium. I used my debit to get the 14 day free trial long time ago and now that I want to renew my subscription it says "you already used your free trial with this card" like I obviously know I did so wheres your option for people who are trying to renew their subscription without the damn 14 day free trial??

    I would say that the app itself is good. My opinion is that it could be better if they could update episodes and seasons faster like attack on titan specifically, also that yes i understand that commercials are there to keep the app free but don't give so many. I rate this app 4.7 out of 5 stars.

    The app is good but the quality is declining fast. The bugs need to be fixed. It buffers every 30 seconds and I can't watch anything because of it. It worked just fine in 2015. What happened?

    The main reason I have marked this down is because I downloaded it to watch John's bizarre adventure which I was watching on crunchyroll at home. Lone behold, it's nowhere to be found on the app. The app itself is decent but finding the exact thing you want to watch is proving to be a challenge for me. So many things I've watched on crunchyroll at home that I cannot watch on this app. You are always gonna have assist you don't pay for a service so I haven't marked it down for that. But the main gripe is there needs to be more that you can access for this to be worthwhile. I watched all the content available in 2 days

    The only problem I don't like about it right now is that Every time I watch Baruto or something it keeps on Freezing & Loading. It would be really good if you fixed it & I'm sure everyone else would love to keep watching Animes on Crunchyroll. So could you please fix that? Thank you

    Hello. The appication itself news some new features... see upcoming releases, send a support ticket, offline download full or only metadata to speed up viewing later. Other thing is that the viewing without wifi is really really bad... it doesnt seems to create an extra buffer in case you pass a zone with a less latency or no signal. Finaly who can i contact to know if a especfic anime will be available? Best regards.

    Well.. it's fine and all but there's a problem with the ads. Like sometimes there's an ad it won't load and it just shows the orange thing loading but it mostly happens on this show called blue spring or something. So it would be an honor if crunchyroll can work on fixing that

    THERE'S WAY! TOO! MANY ADS ON A SINGLE VIDEO! LIKE TO THE POINT I CAN'T EVEN WATCH IT LIKE A NORMAL PERSON??? JUST MAKE AN OFFICIAL YOUTUBE CHANNEL IF THIS IS ALL YOU CAN DO WITH AN APP! AT LEAST THEIR AD SITUATION IS BETTER! .... I'm sorry, this is what happens when I'm frustrated, because dear god am I frustrated.

    People, do NOT update the app. I loved the previous version, the new update screwed it up. It had good shows & a great selection and looked awesome. Wish the actual anime played as well as the ads.

    Crunchyroll itself is a decent service (I pay for premium and watch on my laptop and tv often. Unfortunately the phone app is awful. I always have a new phone (Galaxy Note 9 currently) and this app is the only streaming service I use that I have issues with. Constant freezing, always rewinding itself whether on data or wifi. If you're looking into the service to use on anything but mobile it is worth it but if you're going to use it solely on your phone then don't even bother.

    The shows are great and I'm fine with the little ad breaks but, some ads are from YouTubers that use an entire video for their ad. It takes away from the experience and slows you down when trying to watch a show.

    Way too many ads that play better than the actual anime...makes premium subscription attractive. Even with high speed data the free videos are buffering way too much.

    Probably one of the worst UIs ever designed. Using this with a Chromecast is the most infuriating experience I ever had. Get ready to force stop the app all the time to get anything to work. The idea behind the service is good but the Android app just sucks. The developers should try using Netflix to see how far behind they are.

    Premium Member. "We are currently preparing the show for your device. Please check back later." Nothing happens. Tested on multiple devices and two of them left overnight. It's a fine app apart from the fact that it doesn't do anything. Broken.

    Their servers can't handle a continuous stream.. all of my other streaming apps don't restart every 2-3 minutes or get stuck on a reload loop. Also, sometimes the ads don't load because they are broken and it never moves past them! I don't mind ads but omfg it takes 45 minutes to watch a 20 minute show.

    Ok I get that there needs to be ads for free users but 8 in a row is just excessive. Watching short anime that are 15 minutes long shouldn't have 10 minutes of ads... Uninstalled after 1 episode. If you're a free user then you're probably better off streaming it directly from a browser

    There are too many advertisements to justify trying to watch the shows on the app only to have it freeze and stop working. I'm sure others have had better luck with the app but my experience was not positive in the least.

    I know the mobile app is free and all but i logged in with my account in which im paying, so why do i have to watch 3 consecutive ads? I mean, if i needed a new bedroom enough to consider buying one i couldnt afford to PAY for a monthly susbscription to an online service. Check your audience crunchyroll, mexico is not a first world coutry (last statement is sarcasm tho)

    This app stutters like crazy and takes too much to load. Barely usable. Would give 1 star if I didn't like the service otherwise. Do yourself a favor and use the Web service instead.

    I wanna start out by saying that I absolutely love Crunchyroll on the computer, and it's my number one choice for anime. But the app is awful if you aren't a member. There are a ridiculous amount of ads compared to the number that would be shown, for example, on the computer.

    It a good app with a good selection of anime. I can't stand the ads though and I've tried to sign up for the free trial but it said that my card was already used for free trial which is not true. I then tried to pay for premium but it still won't let me. Please fix.

    I'm so mad about it. I thought it would be OK for an ad here and there but not it's ad after ad. I click skip and just brings me to another and and its just a continuous.

    The app is horrible for free users and with premium you still have very poor loading times at sertain parts of the day. Otherwise amazing.

    Even in strong Wi-Fi the app freezes &goes back as much as 15 seconds! Please fix for 5 star rating!

    Problems across systems, it won't play a single episode. Plays for 2 min and freezes, the app on my phone works fine but XBOX and PS4 are needing attention. I'm a premium member and I'm getting frustrated because I pay to not be able to watch

    There is way to many ads on 1 episode. It's still a nice way to watch anime but using data makes it way worse. It constantly freezes and buffers. Even with wifi it does this

    I use this app on 2 platforms, and over wifi at home it is bareable, maybe 2 times it crashes over 3 or 4 episodes, but on my mobile on 4g it wont load and closes the app 3 to 4 times per episode, i am a premium member so no ads. Anime lab is definitely alot better at the streaming sode of things, really just have this app for one piece but not worth it i suggest going else where

    Would get a full 5 star if app wouldnt keep freezing up and buffering like crazy on a 4g network. When i first started using it was great but after the last few updates its gone completely screwed up

    Crashes all the time! I have an s7 edge and constantly make sure its clean. I also have a pretty decent wifi setup and it still has trouble loading. The only thing that doesn't have trouble loading is, ofcoarse, the ads. And i kno ads are outta necessity but yu show three ads at a time on yur console version and at SEVERAL points in time on the mobile version I'm watching upwards of 12-13 ads with no skipping!!! It's a mobile version!!! No one is gunna want to stand in line at DMV or something and just watch ads and 3 mins. of whatever anime they choose before finishing what they were doing! Fix and i will consider changing my rating.

    Why do i have to watch 5 ads in 1? And why does it takes 365mb data for only 2 episodes? Please lesson the data use and fix the ads. Not all anime episodes are there, and can you please give us an option on censored and uncensored anime please, because seeing floating boxes irritates the flying duck out of me. The smoove episode watching is very nice, it NEVER lags, that's great!

    I didn't even use the app for a week before I knew it was awful. I started an episode of an anime, and then after the initial ad started, the episode started just fine. Less than a minute in though, another ad started. Now I want going to get worked up over that. What I did get worked up over however is the fact thug when I hit skip ad, kit brought me to another ad, and when I tried to skip that ad, it started over. This cycle continued and I have decided this app isn't worth your time.

    Have paid for there service for years. App is the best on the market always updated. But since last update everything is slowed. As a premium member why do I get so many interruptions. I'm ready to cancel and find a different service.

    I love crunchyroll. I paid for it but on my note it works horribly. It replays and freezes. I'm sure it's because this phone just came out. But please add stability. I keep having to use other apple devices to watch it.

    It's a really great application! Its sad that they're no dub version of the different anime. However the fack that there is no way to stop a user that's under age is some what disgraceful. I think that only the one's who are watching mature contain should pay! Like this it would have a bigger and wader audience.

    Watch almost all of bleach no problem. Get to season 14 and it wants to hang up, buffer constantly, not be in sync with visual and audio. I don't know what happened recently but it's proven to make my experience with crunchyroll quite unpleasant at this time. Fix it...

    A really great app. The free version has ads which is like watching regular TV. The bad thing is sometimes you'll get a ad that's 10 minutes long. Other than that, not too shabby.

    Too much buffering, stuttering issues. Uses flash; switch to html5 already. Dont waste time fixing this flash version.

    It flat out doesn't work. I have fast internet, I've rebooted my tablet and reinstalled the app multiple times, and whenever I try to watch something, an add plays (which works fine, no lag, good quality) but when it gets to the actual content, "there was a problem playing the video." Same thing with vrv, same crap software.

    I just watched 8 consecutive ads before my show started then after a few minutes had to watch more just to continue watching. This is ridiculous. They might as well just make it where you can't watch without a sub because i have been watching ads more than I have been doing literally anything else. Work arounds- A. Only sub B.fix ads C. Do nothing and watch as you lose your entire audience

    Loving the app. Been using it for more than a year now. I'd just like it if Crunchyroll had a smart tv app. It would make life so much easier if I didn't have to switch on my xbox every time I want to watch it on my tv. Just having an easy instantly accessible app on my smart tv would be great. Regardless I just want to thank you all for making a great application.
