    You can't expect everyone the buy both services. Crunchyroll releases dubs on time, and are constant. Netflix is even more constant than you guys now. I'm not subbing to a service that can't even release anime normally anymore, and I don't want to hear any excuses. Crunchyroll is a smaller company (Sony owned your asses for longer than CR) yet they have better content, and app design. If Sony combines your company I hope they get rid of the Funimation lazy dub team completely.

    Since 1986 been living the dream in an animated fantasy (Dragonball,Dragonball Z, DBGT,DBS,DBHBB...etc...thousands of hours of enjoyment)

    Absolutely horrible user experience. It's pretty, it's just unusable. Streaming apps should be well figured out by now but somehow I have never successfully played three episodes in a row on this one; Casting is unreliable; Logging into PS4 has never worked; Takes forever to start an episode of anything(2 minute loading indicator); half the time the app just says "Unable to play video at this time". Severely disappointed because I was really wanting to like the service.

    When I was going to watch a another anime it said only subscribers can so I can't watch skate infinity episode 3 because of It is not very good app it's like anime lab. 😕

    This app is... Really bad. I actually have to delete it and reinstall it every time I want to use it. The user interface isn't great but I have to say this would get 5 stars if I could atleast consistently use the app without it thinking I have no internet connection. Where does this kind of problem even come from? I've tried with or without the use of my VPN and it changes nothing. Clearing cache and data does nothing. The selection of anime is WONDERFUL and so is the price, but not the app.

    This app is one of the worst it puts little to no effort into subs, it sometimes forgets to put subtitles in an episode, and if you download something subbed it's subtitles are insanely off. If you want a good anine app use vrv or cruncyroll they have their stuff together.

    For the love of God do something to speed up the app. Clicking anything requires a whole minute to load the page show category etc. It's like time traveling back to the 1990s when dile up was the thing and webpages took minuets to load. Its awful. Especially when every other VOD service performs perfect. Netflix, prime, Disney plus all super responsive apps. Funnimation just runs soo poorly no matter the platform. A reminder that Sony is not a software company as the owner of funimation ....

    Good selection of anime but the interface kinda sucks and makes changing episodes more difficult then it needs to be and can take a long time to load or cast anything

    I try to watch the rest of mha season 5 and it's just stuck on a black screen with no sound and I can't even watch animes like K-on! Or demon slayer:mugen train without buying premium my disappointment is immersuable and my day is ruined.

    First and foremost, Chromecast is so buggy it doesn't work 90% of the time. Unfortunately my whole experience so far is just not good enough. With Animelab announcing they're closing and moving into Funination, a long, loyal user of Animelab and having to transition into Funimation hasn't been seamless at all. If anything it has been super bad and frustrating.

    Look, I can't even get through one episode without ads stopping the whole show, I can't get past them at all! And I'm not paying for a subscription because the app is slow anyway, I also hate that you have to go to there website to change some app settings, I'm dissapointed.

    Paid version. It glitches, alot. (Samsung TV) fast forward is barely working. Works on Android (Note 10) Casting has glitches. I would love it if it had more than funimation anime. There's great variety but not enough English dubs. Most content just stop. They just end at cliffhangers. Over all newer versions have not been as reliable. Customer support stated older TV's aren't being supported.

    Plus side. It has anime. Downside. Every 3 seconds it buffers on Verizon 4g data. Update, still garbage loading quality. I can watch something for about a minute on my home wifi of 100mb download/upload before it buffers and locks up.

    such an awful app. Awful website. Awful playstation app. the library of content is great, but getting it to play is so much hassle. I am constantly told that the episode I am trying to watch is only for premium subscribers (sidenote, I am a subscriber) it makes marathonning shows very difficult when between every episode I need to restartmy browser or turn my device off and on over and over until funimation gets its act together. i would give them 0 stars if that were an option. its borderline unusable.

    The one reason why i barley use this app is that i bought the NO add subscription, and when im literallt trying to watch something i get so many adds when i click on the episode, and i sit there saying: Omg why is there so many adds i bought the NO adds subscription, so why is it still giving me adds?

    The app is always having glitches. Half the time I go to click on a current episode of something and I can't watch it. I've updated the app several times still happens. Then I'll also get where I click on one episode and somehow it's a different season and different episode that's playing and there's no way to get the current episode to play.

    Getting better, but I have two digital copies on the app, and one of them, Rosario Vampire, is mostly unavailable, with only three episodes of the first season, and none of the second available. Would like this fixed, as it's fairly irritating to have paid good money for the anime, only to not be able to access it.

    The app is pretty much garbage. Sometimes shows won't load in the menus, or episodes won't appear. Trying to cast? Good luck trying to get it working. I've had to close and reopen the app 5 times, and then go into settings and force close just to get it to start playing. Then after a few episodes it will just stop, disconnect, I'll have to go through the whole process again. Loading times are awful too... A joke.

    Subtitles seem broken (vastly out of sync), which makes it impossible to use until it is fixed (android)

    I barely used this app at all but it already sucks. First if all, I hate the account setup system. Second of all, it wouldn't let me watch attack on Titan because it's too mature, and it made me go to a website outside the app to turn the feature off. I just wanted to watch anime with dub, but I guess not.

    Selection is great since absorbing Animelab, but the app doesn't work well enough for the cost of subscription. It needs serious improvement before I consider renewing again. Skip intro and outro, basic app functionality and app crashes, language settings that don't actually reflect what's available (don't tell me it's available subbed and dubbed when no matter how much I change to setting it simply will not let me watch subbed)
