    PLEASE bring back Google Goggles. If you want to offer this an alternative that's fine, but it seems most reviews agree with me that Goggles worked better in terms of functionality and seemed to have more features than Lens. In Lens I can't seem to find a way to search based on a picture stored in my phone. I've used Google Goggles many times to help family members discover information about artwork/tapestries/etc and we've always been ecstatic with all the information we've found through Google Goggles. I used to be able to take a picture of the item and then put the pic into google goggles. With Google Lens there seems to be no way to put pics in for searching. The tapestries and paintings that I need to search are located in an area where I have no cell service, so having Google Lens search it real-time is not an option. Please bring back Google Goggles, it was much more user-friendly, seemed to have more options in terms of application, and not that this matters but the name was much more catchy than Google Lens. Thank you!!!

    This app simple opens up with a "coming soon" message. Replaces the working goggles. If it's not ready, than don't force the upgrade.

    Hello Google, I now own an LG G7 Thinq, which has Lens baked into it and assigned to a hardware button. Lens doesn't work correctly with this phone, I can't switch the camera due to lacking functionally. I have two separate cameras on the back of this phone. It is very difficult to take a picture of a landmark with a macro lens. Google please stop replacing things with less functional versions of them. Goggles let you upload a picture from your sdcard. This doesn't.

    Loved goggles. I took a photo earlier so that I could identify it in goggles later on. Now that they've replaced it with lens. I can't do that. I used goggles all the time. This new app is useless to me. Way to ruin it for everybody, Google.

    Try to take a picture of a QR at four or five different angles it still couldn't figure out what I was trying to take a picture of

    Lens can be summed up with "ehh..." It's not terrible, it just doesn't really... do anything interesting. It's essentially a glorified reverse image search with Google's added labels. The attempts to identify virtually anything are mediocre at best (wow, you can identify the Taj Mahal, thanks) and are often wrong. It can at best distinguish between some animals, but has rarely been able to be meaningfully precise. OCR is often patchy. In summation... Ehh.

    Google Goggles actually worked. This does not. All lens does is try to figure out what merchandise the picture might represent and it tries to sell you something.

    Has some cool capabilities compared to it's predecessor, Goggles - and finally handles QR codes again - but I miss the image recognition from Goggles (i.e. being able to look at a photo or painting and find information about it on Google)

    How is this a replacement for Googles? It's so limited and can't search by an image which was the main reason I used Goggles.

    Crashed every time I tried to use it on my Note 8. Doesn't look like it searches for pics like Google Goggles does which is what I was hoping for.

    Important Msg to the developer: In the beginning it was ok. But now, Really it's irritating... Not even recognise some normal things correctly. Especially, instead of using only cameras of the phone, why can't u add an option to look up the gallery images...? I think surely it'll bring a good improvement to this application. Pls do it as soon as possible and don't let us to wait...

    I wanted to aks something! I have a LG G6 and in it's camera says that it supports google lens but it may not work on all languages! I have my phone at english and i still can not enable it! What can I do to enable it? And i want to say one thing the view finder of Google Lens is awful!
