Description

The HP Print Service Plugin is the only print driver that you'll need to easily print documents, emails and pictures from print-supported applications to a variety of HP Printers, including HP OfficeJet, HP LaserJet, HP DesignJet, HP Photosmart, HP DeskJet and HP Envy.

You can discover and print to HP printers that are:
• Connected to the same network as your mobile device
• Broadcasting a Wi-Fi Direct network
• Connected to the mobile device via a USB On-the-Go cable

Just select Print or Share to PSP when you need to print. Just tap the menu button to reveal the print option. Location of menu button may vary depending on your model of Android™ device.

The HP Print Service Plugin simplifies printing on your Android™ Lollipop™ (v5.0) and newer devices. If you use Android 6 (Marshmallow) or earlier, you might need to enable the HP Print Service Plugin in your device's settings

Great app. Easy to print from our various devices, PC, Kindle, Samsung tablet, and Samsung phones. The only glitch that I've found is the interface between Pinterest and Amazon. I was unable to print directly from Pinterest even from the "print" prompt in Pinterest. Had to go directly to the link and print from there. On Amazon, was unable to print a return label easily. Not sure if this was an Amazon or Samsung problem. Overall, very pleased.

Was easy to install and use right away. Most annoying thing is the pop up asking me to rate it 5 minutes after I installed it and continuously asking. Haven't even had it half a day yet. There, done, happy now :)

Very frustrating. I send pics to printer and it won't print on 4x6 photo paper even after specifying. So aggravating. Had to use Samsung print plug in.

No print preview. Tried to print a photo of some id cards at a reasonable size on plain paper and it managed a blurry mess at 5 by 7 on 8.5 by 11 paper centered vertically so I tried to adjust settings and the next several tries it gave me cut off incorrectly oriented pictures and I never got back to the initial almost correct layout. App is a waste of ink and paper. Uninstalled immediately.

Just want to uninstall this useless app I never print, and it won't let me uninstall this app. It is always updating, which is pointless for an unused app.

So far it works with all of my mobile devices, with no problems. We have 4 laptops, 4 cell phones, a kindle fire and a samsug tab A, all connected to my home network, and they all are able to print. ☺☺☺!!!

I find it appalling that nearly EVERY REVIEW SAYS THE SAME THING. "CONVENIENT" was used in nearly every review. Its very obvious these sre fake reviews. I wish it would work with all apps, but it doesn't. It frequently tells me "printer unavailable." It's a pain to have to download things to then be able to print.

It's working ok now. I had too much problem installing and getting it connected to my device. My printer is 415, but according to this app, its 410. That caused too much confusion for an ignorant creature like me. But l managed to sort it out. Thanx!

The app works great. The printer, after only 2 years , is now too outdated to work with our newer modem. That, I am unhappy about.

Now that our business is doing more, we need our computer and printer to work with efficiency. This plugin allows me to e receipt on my phone and print it out when I need them for verification. At first, it was touchy but the last update made improvements. Now if we only can fax using just the internet!

All these idiots complaining about it being forced onto their device need to be glad that they even have access to this service. They might not have an e-printer, but they can go to a friend's house to use theirs. I love this app. I don't have to go to my computer to print something from my device.

Until the last two days, I haven't had an issue. Now twice in the last two days I've printed two items and the third shows unavailable. 9/8/17 - App says "print spooler not working". Go to my printer and it is printing just fine. Also, at other times, print a doc and do not get any errors, but nothing prints. Then some time in the future, could be hours or days, the doc will print. App is quirky to say the least.

Works well. It sometimes will say "printer not available" and if you give it another minute, the screen changes and prints just fine. Annoying to have that moment of dread that it might not work and possible troubleshooting, but it still works in the end.

Not the best app I've used. Options for printing seem to be different every time. Can't always choose double sided print. Have to print odd then even pages. Defeats the purpose of wireless printing If I have to go back to the printer to re-feed already printed doc. in order to print on opposite side of paper. Doesn't print well from my phone; can't detect some of the script. Had to print from my Mac to get full document printed. It's an ok app.

Got the color back when printing from my phone subsequent to a recent update, very happy now ..... (it's as it was/should be). Saves a lot of time when I can print straight from my phone rather than opting for the tedious task of opening my computer to do same.

This is amazing. It really is. I bought a new printer 'cause my last one was too old and it was not printing that good this last four months and now I've got a new one and found this app to print my school works and this is just freaking awesome. I love this app. I will never uninstall this app. Best app ever.

It simply works...99.99% of the time. And if there's a hiccup, it's always something else like the network, the smartphone, or (unfortunately) the printer itself. ;)

Yes the app appears to work well but ABSOLUTELY HATE the virtual assistant thing! No amount of "rephrasing" of my query got a response other than "I do not understand". In the end gave up!

Have some problems in setting up new printer. Like it says press the eweb print button in your printer. Can't find one. Says touch ok button, in that particular page there is none. Other than that after you install and set up your instant ink, it is a great app. Lets you do a lot. Great functunality

I expected it to work, and it did. Nothing exciting, but it usually works well, especially when using it with my desktop or laptop. I sometimes have problems with it when trying to print documents from my smartphone.

Very convenient to be able to print from your phone. A lot of times it takes a long time to connect to the printer and gives an error message of "can't connect right now", but then it eventually connects. Other than that, it's pretty good!

The app is usually quite good but I've had days when nothing would print then I'd come home at the end of the day and find five copies of what l tried to print in the morning. Inconsistent.

Usually works great. Sometimes the printer is listed as unavailable and i have to turn my phone's wifi connection off and on depending on which of my router's it is connected to. But they are all the same network, so it shouldn't make a difference.

Edited-☆☆Got it on s8!! Again love it!! Thank you!!! ☆☆ old post-I loved it on my S6! BUT I can't find or figure out how to add a app to my S8 so I can use it. It is installed. Even went back, uninstalled it, reinstalled it, powered down phone for a minute and still it's not here. Please help. Thank so much! Will totally give 5 stars if I can use this on my new S8. 😊

It works all fine but has a problem of skipping pages 8/10 times I print. Sometimes it automatically prints. These stuffs waste pages and colour which is costly

Well w/ my new phone Galaxy Note 8 it works so much better, very easy w/ new phone compared to previous Samsung . But now my only problem is connecting it to my daughter's HP laptop. Now that is a real struggle

As others have said, it's hit or miss. I get "printer not available" a lot now, along with "printer failure... printer has failed to start". Does it need an update?

Doesn't store your settings, so constantly changing page orientation and print quality. Please make it so these preferences are automatically applied next time you print.

I love this app I print my pictures and any important documents straight from my phone. Its a huge thing you not have to find my laptop and log in and remember passwords. Life with 4 kids just got easier!

App works well once set up on PDF files but takes too much fiddling with settings to print pictures properly. Misses top and bottom 5-10% of page when printing pictures. Very frustrating. Ended up just giving up. App Also makes it hard to print to different DeskJet 3632 printers when not at home. If I install more then one printer to my device then neither device connects when needed to print. Also the HP DeskJet 3632 constantly reprints test pages when switched back on. Frustrating considering it's a home printer that's only occassionally used.

It always prints a black page or black bar to every printing job I do. It's very frustrating. I give it a 3 meaning ok because yes, it prints but not well.

It prints that's about all I can say about that. But for some reason I have to print everything twice because I get a double image on the first copy. No matter what I do I get a Double superimposed Image plus thick black streaks going down the right side which is a complete waste of ink. I was going to update my review but they haven't fixed the problem so as of now and many many months later the problem still stands and it's not fixed.

Fix the notification issue. When there is a block of the printer is out of paper there is a notification noise that does not stop.
