Review that really sticks
Academic research has found that memories are formed by repeated exposure to new information, so Magoosh’s flashcard app uses a spaced repetition system. Words you are learning will reappear frequently (occurring less frequently the better you know them) and words you already know won’t be repeated. Our SAT word list is also kept to only 350 words so that you don't waste time learning unimportant words.

    Very helpful This app is a blessing. I haven't taken my SAT yet and I was kinda nervous about learning all those words. However, this app helped boost my confidence. I still wish it helped with word pronunciation though.

    Suggestion I love the app but theres one thing that will make it perfect. Could you add some pronunciation like a little sound button and when you push it you could here the correct way to pronounce it i would love that thank you so much.

    Truly garbage. It's just cards with tips. There is no practice there's no testing or challenge. It's just information about grammar and punctuation etc but no questions to answer at all. What a piece of garbage

    This app is brilliant, and is probably one of the more effective apps I've seen- and I should know, I've been studying hard for the SAT. It's built on the simple idea that if you already know a word, there is no reason to waste any time on it. The app presents a series of flash cards, which you can identify as "Don't know" and "Know." Upon labeling a card as "Know," you won't be bothered by it again. If you don't know the word, however, the cards will give the definition and appear later to see if you've learned. Like any app, this requires YOUR own effort into memorizing. There is no app that will memorize the words for you. Take your time with the vocabulary and try to learn the definitions. This app definitely helps with that. Other than that, it's very easy to use and is well designed.
