  • I'm not sure what this app is for. The Insider features would be well at home in either the Launcher or the Cortana app (or both), other than that... This app is nothing more than a collection of shortcuts to MS's other apps. Which are easy enough to discover in the Store anyway, so it's completely superfluous.

  • So I have the my phone app on PC also installed on the windows 1803 version. And j also have connected and signed in via the my phone app on my S8. However, after opening my phone app on the PC, nothing happens. Like it prompts to link phone, and when I click on it, it takes me back to the settings where I've already linked my phone. So the app is literally doing nothing as of now on Windows.

  • I love Microsoft. However, this app just will not work correctly with my galaxy s9 and my windows 10 pc. I cannot get it to link properly, there has yet to be a connection made between my pc and my cell phone. I guess I'll just keep using the android messages for web portal until I can get this corrected. It would be so nice to have native sms integration on my pc. I am a windows insider.
  • This app worked a few months ago. Then one of the many windows 10 updates killed it and it hasn't worked since. Same issue as has been reported by others. Says it cannot connect to phone then it offers to send message to phone to authorize but it never sends anything. Beginning to wonder if the yet limited functionality is enough to draw people in.
  • Can't use the app on my Essential phone. The menu is behind the status bar so when I try to click it, it opens the notification center. EDIT: Thanks for updating and fixing this issue.

  • Has a away to go before it can compete with Google Messages for Web. It should have better integration with Windows desktop notifications and Cortana. The app should run in the background as a service so it doesn't have to be opened to synch with a PC. If this app would bring SMS messages into Outlook, it would be indispensable.
  • Existing features works great. It will be great if it can show picture on computer. Ability to dial number and pickup phone on app itself will be awesome.

  • Good collection of Microsoft apps. Main features is the phone text message and photos sharing with the Your Phone app on windows 10, one downside is your phone must be connected to wifi for it to sync. I really hope that restriction gets changed with an option to allow the app to use cellular data.
  • The promise is there, but it still has a long long way to go. it keeps losing connection and I have to keep refreshing, which doesn't always work.

  • Microsoft SUCKS Everytime I try to access any app Microsoft DOESN'T RECOGNIZE me or my password and Microsoft has gone as far as to say that they don't show that account. I am almost to the point TO TELL Microsoft that If I have one more problem with them telling me that they don't recognize my account OR password. They can take everything I have Microsoft and stick it where the sun don't SHINE. I will be more than happy to MY business with GOOGLE. Google has never given me any problems with my accounts

  • Excellent move. Best I can now directly download other MSFT apps from this app. I mostly use apps from MSFT and this helps me find those on Android very easily.

  • Doesn't work This app flat out doesn't work. Whenever i try to install anything it downloads the sits there. Just saying "waiting for installing" on the downloads screen with an install button next to. If you tap the install button all it does is redownload the app. Leaving it and waiting does nothing it eventually disappears from the list and all you can do is select to install it again, which just repeats this process. Only got this to install Cortana since you cant get if from anywhere else, which is stupid.
