I love the portal. I wish all of my friends had it...I use it for photo sharing just within family (they have portals) and inside the house compilation of trips, photos. I watch, listen to webcasts, podcasts and use Zoom on the portal too...it's an all around home utility communication and experience player

The app is really not working properly. It gets stuck and slows down to the point of not being able to use it. It also affects the display of the pictures in your actual Portal device. Please fix.

It won't stay on. It just shuts down. Sick of not seeing all my pictures on fb, not the same I usually see, when it will even come on!

I got the app to control by using my deviceand it doesnt work. I love the portal but the remotes stinks. I have exchanged it twice and it keeps going out, I can't even use anything else to control the portal X{

When it worked, it was great except for frequent issues with the remote. Now I've lost the remote and no way to set up the device even with this app because portal TV needs to be connected to WiFi, which cannot be done without a physical remote. Who came up with this device?

When I 1st set up my portal my pictures were rotating beautiful now it's stuck like on 6 what's going on.

Unable to display photos after creating an album.

they only show about 20 or 30 of the pictures that you post on there and even time I think randomly they change the photos it seems but a lot of the times it seems to cycle through the same ones which kind of defeats the purpose of having you know a photo list but it's a decent enough app you can talk to it and have Alexa do things for you and play music answer questions things like that so that aspect is pretty cool

Portal app does not work on Samsung Note 9 latest Android version. Not even load the main screen, just a wheel in the middle spinning. Portal device is good but Portal app is a huge disappointment considering the company behind the development.

I hardly use this device. I want to try to at least play music on it but it is difficult to set up to my music apps.

Portal has now decided to remove the Spotify controls on the lock screen and home screen. They were there yesterday but by the afternoon suddenly disappeared. I'm get fed up with Portal as I have sent numerous reports of issues to them and they don't reply. To me, that's downright disrespectful, considering they take your money quick enough. Get a grip and start responding to your client's when they report something. An update is

Can't even get it to install. I went to bed, got up 8 hours later, the app was still in "pending" status. If I ever get it installed, I will come back and give an updated review.

Does virtually nothing! I was expecting this app would allow me to remotely run apps on the portal or at the very least to adjust the volume but all it lets you do is place a call or change the photos displayed on screen.

Need to allow people to login without Facebook account.

What waist of money I hace at least 50 photos in my album it only displays 5-6 I've tried factory reset still same thing happening so frustrating You wouldn't expect this big company shame on you

Loved the portal for my grandma, but the app is incredibly limited. Intended to use portal for video calls and to share photos to keep her connected to family throughout this pandemics (I am living abroad, while she's been locked in a nursing home). It's sold as an electronic frame, but I seem to be unable to update photos unless we post them on Facebook. Also, even though it should display all photos in the portal album, it only selects a few. Not exactly living to the advertised functions.

This App is HORRIBLE!!! I don't know what Facebook/Meta is trying to do but whatever it is it's not working!! I can't access any of my photos from my Portal-Go or my phone!! They have to fix this Application immediately!

Can't use it with WhatsApp to log in. I don't want a Facebook account but I do use my portal for WhatsApp calls.. I'd like to change the wallpaper and display settings but for this I need this Portal companion app, which I can't log in to without a facebook account. Stupid and poorly thought through.

Awful. No flexibility, photos are shown in order no way to randomise and it only shows the same 12 images although there are over 500 in the album. Other then images the app does not help with the set up of your apps on the portal... over all underwhelmed and very unimpressed

Doesn't turn on. The developers need to do more exciting things with the apps device. At the minute its just an overpriced web cam.

The update to Meta ruined this device. I can no longer open the app! Facebook/Meta, you broke it so you buy it...I want my money back!!!

I have put photos on my portal, but they freeze on one photo. Therefore I uninstalled the app and have re installed it. No change....the photos that were preloaded work, except the ones I put on. This SUCKS,PLEASE fix this or explain to me why this is happening. I've NEVER had any problems before.
