    Update cause all the products to disappear. Can't use POS at all without our products shown. No way to sync!!!! It was working great before the update!

    Newest update adds online products into the pos app making product selection confusing. Products marked online only shouldn't show up in the pos app.

    Shopify and Android don't mix Overall, Shopify is a good company to work with. I think it's important to know ahead of time that they are all about Apple. If you use Apple you'll have a much more enjoyable experience.

    Can't use hardware with android app The iPad version allows you to connect hardware. Why doesn't android have that option? I would love to be able to connect my receipt printer to my tablet I brought just for the store. I am using a Lenovo tablet because they are a perfect size and cost effective but I can only email receipts and can't connect a barcode scanner or receipt printer 😕

    Is there a bug? I'm no longer able to process returns for store credit on the POS app. Tried both android and apple and it's giving me a blank screen after I select the items I want to refund.

    Will give it five stars once I'm able to connect to my tap & chip, otherwise can't really use this on a galaxy and replacing all out devices to apple products is an unnecessary cost at the moment

    We have an online store account, thinking that it could be great to have a mobile POS. Ended up that can't read nor search the existing products. It is really disappointing

    Before the update it worked fine. After the update none of my products sync with the system whatsoever. Couldn't sell anything with card at a recent event we attended.

    Very buggy. Took 5 resets and new attempts to connect scanner. Tiles regularly disappear and don't come back until I log out and log in again. Would not use if I had an alternative

    Point of sale is having problems logging in on our register tablet. Been doing it for a week now. How am I supposed to run the store if the app isn't working on register? Been having to use my phone.

    Since the update I can't get past the pin. I didn't create a pin now it keeps asking me for a pin.

    I don't usually write reviews but I will do an exception for this app. This app is junk, I have a chip and swipe reader. It was working fine before, and today I am at an event and the card reader is not working anymore. It shows that it's connected but when I go to the checkout only manual entry is available for the reader. I spent hours trying to troubleshoot at no avail. I even reinstalled the app. I am so frustrated now. I am going back to square app from now on. You guys need to do better.

    Ever since the update my POS chip reader doesn't even function right. I had no problems with the app prior to the update. At this point I feel I should get my money back for the POS system since it's super buggy now.

    Pretty upset and disappointed I pay you guys a monthly fee to run my website and you put this app out to run in tandem with the service I pay for and I can't even use it. It won't refresh and times out every time I go to check out. Very very very disappointed

    SHOPIFY - IS - ABSOLUTELY - A - SCAM - DON'T give them your bank details. It's IMPOSSIBLE to cancel billing once they have your bank details.( In response to developer comment - below) They actually block your SAVED pass word, so you can't cancel and can't stop them STEALING MONEY out of your account. Remember... ACCOUNT SUPPORT IS NON EXISTENT. They (SHOPIFY) have suspended ALL ACCESS TO my account ages ago, without notice, OR reason, ( I had a ZERO customer order challenges or complaints, NEVER A PROBLEM). Denied Access to my account, Denied the service I'm STILL paying for, yet they are allowed STEAL MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT EVERY- MONTH-. ANSWER THAT.... Shopify Store -lifestyledateclub so you KNOW I'M GENUINE. NO - I- CANT - I have been DENIED ACCESS. Sad that the ONLY response you get from SHOPIFY IS WHEN YOU EMBARRASS THEM ON-LINE, and show them for what the REALLY ARE, money scammers... STOP - STEALING - MY - MONEY I WILL report ye to the Irish Financial Regulator. Even worse than PayPal and that is bottom of the barrel in the scammer index.

    Not sure what's going on. I could not get the chip/card reader to continuously connect to the POS mobile app this weekend during my popup event. I literally had to manually key in the credit cards for EVERY transaction. Also, please FIX the issue where it's telling us an update is available, when there really isn't one. I really love all things about the integration to the POS Mobil app and the Shopify website, but please fix the "bugginess" of the functionality ASAP!!!

    Impossible to use Won't refresh items no matter how many times I add them to Shopify POS in my store. Buggy, annoying, and not worth it. Just get square or something better and sync your items there.

    This is the worst pos I've ever touched. Every time I look at it something else is wrong. Products lose their names only in the pos, the items won't place into carts, putting in a pin to log in leaves you staring at the pin login screen unmoving. It's garbage.

    Navigation in the previous app was better. Now this new $h!tty app is not compatible with my chromebook Lenovo c340. The receipt printer I bought from Shopify cannot connect to the chromebook. Curiously, I can print everything I want from the web with this printer but when using Shopify POS, the app cannot print receipt. Already contacted support and they finally tells me my chromebook is not supported. I really love to throw my money trough the window. Thank you shopify. The previous app was working so well why did Shopify update with this laggy app? Enormous downgrade from the previous pos app

    Bells, whistles, bugs, and connectivity problems. Chip reader and swipe will drio out, and not reconnect. Only fix is to forget reader, restart device, and start over. Hardly a good option when you are trying to process orders at a high traffic craft fair. Please bring back the old app. It was perfect for pop up shows and fairs. Keep this one for those that need the extras, and re-release the old one as "Shopify POS Lite".

    Reciently the POS till has been crashing almost everyday. Right as you check out, the chipreader either does not connect well and it just gets stuck on payment method page. You then have to restart the app and restore the transaction. Then it will get stuck on the payment processing page. So you restart the app again. Repeat again with all customers. This has been the case for the last week or two. Connectivity issues always. Chip and tap pairing fails too. 😞 reallywishing for an older version.

    Major issues, not suitable for retail store! #1 Employees can open cash drawer 2 different ways and no way to track it being open or to block this. #2 No way to block employees from seeing register shift history/daily sales totals. Only fix is to keep doing factory reset on iPad. #3 New POS Lite doesn't offer same options as Classic - NO MORE EXCHANGES!?! Told to process return and re-ring out, no save cart, no receipt printer settings, hard to look up previous receipts by item,

    Better Idea as I quiet like the printer on every other device. Can you publish your POS app on the Amazon store so that we can use the app on Windows 11s new feature that runs Android Apps from the Amazon App store. Would be the biggest pro to happen to Shopify this year.

    OK, this is great. let's not be greedy and miserable. The app works amazingly. The only bad thing is that there is not print for android. That could have easily been a button to print on a wifi printer (until the full ios-like printing function is enabled). - what if the customer wants a receipt and all our infrastructure is on android? Another weird thing is that Android is more than 80 percent of the market, how come you guys did it for ios first ??? Most payment systems run on android. but despite this. the app is great :)
