Description

Lead your party of heroes as they fight to protect the last remnants of humanity. Born in a time of warring gods and dark powers, your four unlikely heroes embark on a grim journey set in the sprawling and immense post-apocalyptic medieval world of Steel.

Heroes of Steel is a turn-based tactics RPG in which you build a party of four characters and combine their unique talents, curses, buffs and abilities to make a winning team strategy. Face challenging monsters, terrifying bosses, and constantly changing terrain in the hostile Underdeep. Gain over 60 levels and transform your characters into legendary heroes, choosing from hundreds of Talents and thousands of combinations of equipment.

Play the free RPG version "Heroes of Steel RPG" before you purchase Elite and enjoy hours of turn-based strategy in Red Hill for free! Heroes of Steel Elite includes the entire story (4 Episodes) - 120+ hours of epic story and as you battle across the Underdeep, facing gods, villains and even older threats. This game features no grinding - all continuous story. Please note there is no transfer of IAPs or character groups from Heroes of Steel RPG to Elite.

It is the dawn of the Seventy First Year after the world has fallen. Four of the Thirteen Gods rose up against their creator, the All-Father, and destroyed him in a cataclysmic event. In the final days before all was lost, under the guidance of an ancient order of druids, the survivors retreated to a mysterious underground labyrinth; the Underdeep. Now, in the Underdeep, the last remnants of humanity are scratching out a living and trying to rebuild a society, but are quickly discovering that evil has followed them beneath the surface.

Savor complete control over character customization, deciding how to increase your attributes, skills, and powerful talents. Equip each of your characters with a variety of weapons, armor, and up to three mundane or magical accessories. As your party explores the dungeons, cities and crypts of the world, you will decide the overall strategy and approach your team takes.

* IAPs Explained
All IAPs are permanent additions. Purchasing a Character ($1.99) allows you to add the character to any new group. Purchasing a story Episode ($1) allows any group to play through the Episode. There are no consumable or repeat IAPs in this game.

* Permissions Explained
* android.permission.INTERNET is used to send crash reports online to the Trese Brothers allowing us to fix any crash. Crash reports are very small and are sent automatically.

* android.permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE & WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE will enable FUTURE feature to import / export saved games for sharing.

    Great turn-based dungeon romp. The setting is rich, the characters are cool, and the gameplay has enough old-school nostalgic feel to make it endearing without being just a Final Fantasy Tactics clone. Another killer app by the Treses. Different characters are $1.99 each, but you can play through the entire game (all four episodes) with the standard four in the Elite version, basically saving a penny in the process. A must-have for any fantasy RPG fan.

    Simply the best Better than all the rest. This game has it all. It has brutal difficulty (nightmare is very unforgiving), satisfying progression, epic story, and fantastic customer support. Give yourself a couple hours into this game to let the story start to unfold and you will not be disappointed.

    Fun RPG Really enjoyable RPG on the mobile device. Lots of stuff to explore and fight. The enemies change fighting tactics as the game progresses, it can be frustrating, but keeps the battles enjoyable and challenging and not just repetitive.

    Love the crawl! This game is a return to the table top dungeon crawl! Reminiscent of Talisman and Hero Quest with a very D&D aftertaste. I'm just getting started, but I'm very happy so far. It does need a manual, however. Regardless, another Trese victory.

    Best game I own. Period. I've been playing HoS since day one, and after purchasing every new character, have played well over 125 unique and powerful groups using the 8 available characters. Not every group has what it takes, and therein lies the replayability of the game. With every group, you learn what works and what doesn't, improving with every play through. One of my favorite parts of this game is the constant combat- minus backtracking, combat accounts for 75% of the game, and makes for a great experience!

    This game is now on my list of terrible never to replay games and will dissuade me from ever getting a game from this developer again. This game has an absolutely terrible system for hitting an opponent. Hitting is an extremely rare event against most enemies but they never seem to fail hitting for 2-3 times as much damage as you can deal. How do so many enemeies all have the ability to shoot farther than the farthest range abilities of the characters and through barriers, which you cannot do.

    Pacing is very slow and linear. Good story, for several dollars there is a lot of gameplay, but it also feels too long where it feels like a drag to finish. I often find my mages and archer to run out of mana super quickly even with 10%+ SP drain. One thing that should be fixed though is SP drain and aoe attacks. It only recovers on the target you targetted, and not everyone else. I'm halfway into the game, my mage has 400 mana, cleric 600, and takes a lot of resources to recover without rest.

    I've played this game 3 times so far. change up the characters and it's a different experience each time. play only nightmare. strategy, hp and sp a must. Don't re-stat till level 18. Wish there was a similar game but old west setting.

    Endless waves of enemies!! Endless waves of enemies which are also stronger than your heroes, make the game completely unplayable. After two levels it becomes impossible, despite I purchased the stronger heroes and levelled them up. I dont suck, just the enemies are always stronger after two levels and never ever end. For example you are four and enemies are like 15, who are also much stronger... such disappointment. Dont recommend to anyone. But if you are a fan of frustrution, by all means take your time fighting 100 at a time..

    I have been looking for a good turn based strategy RPG with a well written story and engaging characters for quite a while now. Full disclosure: I purchased the game and all 4 of the pay extra heroes and am playing a party with the 4 purchased heroes. The dialogue and backgrounds for each hero is superb and you learn about each character's past and how they are trying to atone. The world history is rich, NPC dialogue good, and the game is excellently written and extremely fun!

    Excellent +5! An excellent little RPG! I've only just started it yesterday and have been playing it at every opportunity. The controls, both in and out of combat, are easy and intuitive, as are the character leveling mechanics. The graphics maintain a nice level of detail, while not being excessive to the point where running it drains the battery quickly. This will be my on-the-go boredom remedy for some time to come.

    Awesome!!! Full disclosure I play and love all the games these guys make but honestly you should too. In a time when developers seem to increasingly be looking for a quick way to grab your cash first and maybe provide a solid enjoyable experience second their approach is a welcome change. You can always expect great game mechanics, engaging storytelling and world building, and the best support and respect for a user base you'll ever find. The level/number of responsive updates is incredible. Buy this game and I swear you'll walk away wishing they had taken more of your money;)
