    Many good functions, and more complete and easier to use than the Gmail mobile app. Please make the following changes. We should be able to move emails from "Sent" to "Files", not just to "Trash". Please activate the "File" icon at the bottom of "Sent". The "New Folder" should be at the top of the folder list, not at the bottom, so that we don't have to scroll all the way down every time.

    Notifications!! I've been very pleased with the yahoo app in the past, mostly because of the notifications. A few months ago I stopped getting notifications on my Galaxy S4, but it had other issues so I blamed it on the phone. Now I have an S6 and I still don't get notified for emails, just for news updates - which I don't want - and this is quite disappointing. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, turned notifications off and on, the works. Nothing has worked. I'm very disappointed.

    Why do you want to record audio? When I delete e-mail sometimes it restores them and I have to delete them again

    Works fine, but freezes during updates Every time I pull up the app, it has to freeze for 10 to 20 seconds for sync to occur. Annoying. Otherwise, the app sends and receives emails.

    Initiling mailbox fails Since the app was updated i have not accessed my mail on mobile it keeps initializing mailbox but fails

    Sent mail gets stuck in the outbox frequently and there is nothing you can do to push it through. There are no solutions to this problem anywhere online from Yahoo although it has existed for years. Emails will be received but I can only read the subject and when I open them the e mail is not visible. This is by far the worst e mail application I have ever used . I've been using yahoo mail for over 20 years but it is now unusable.

    The app is extremely slow and lacks sophistication and functionality. I was forced to download it because my Samsung devices, both tablet and smart phone, would all if a sudden not send mail from the native client today. New emails were delivered fine, just sending was affected. Very frustrated, I am seriously seeking another option.

    Yahoo Mail. Really very surprised by this app. Far better than i thought it would be. Notifications work. Which is a priority. Its customizable. Its fast. Organised. Cant think of a complaint against this app. But there is always room for improvment. I have 4 email accounts and this handles them all perfectly. One problem ive noticed recently is that sometimes emails dont get sent. Just sit in the outbox. Annoying.

    From good to bad to terrible. YM doesn't work well with SwiftKey keyboard. It stutters when typing with SwiftKey. It wasn't a problem when I started using YM and SwiftKey from the beginning. Now the lag between keystrokes is killing. Btw I typing this review with SwiftKey, and so I don't think the problem is with SwiftKey.

    Good app. Some improvements here and there since the last previous editions! Albeit, care must be given to necessity of configuring POP, IMAP etc on this app without having to go out and log in again through browsers to make such service committal. Second, syncing hasn't been at greatest to support legacy devices, even on new devices and browsers, syncing done there takes almost ages to reflect in this app,once not done here on the app

    As far as apps have come. And to think how big a company like yahoo is. This app is unbelievable bad. Can't view a PDF have to push file to google drive just to view. I'll save my complaints for the tech support when they reply to this review.

    Get rid of the vibrate option and it's great. I also like the "mark as read" option in the notification. But being asked to rate the app again is a bit annoying

    Who still uses Yahoo? I do. On three different phones and i never have any problems with it. The ads are atllways at the top but they arent annoying, thankfully.

    Not working at all when i start the app..it is showing some error.."sorry we are not able to connect to internet" . in the beginning itself....WTF...my internet is working absolutely fine...and proof is this post.

    Most Useless app Can't add new contacts independently, new mail inthe Inbox is not notified on the app icon, can't attach photos from gallery and this process is too complicated. Can only filter/organize incoming mail not sent mail, can't edit the calendar, calendar doesn't sync , on reading a new mail the unread status doesn't update, can't share to other applications, can't insert/refer to information from other mails in different folders

    No attachments are available for emails before 24Apr2017 in my mobile app. Tried reinstalling but same. On computer they are available. Also I wish that option to move and filter the mail should be easily available. Spam icon should be given instead of star.

    Great app Not a bad app at all. Like how I can click on 1 thing and erase at lot at one time. Makes it much easier when I haven't clean out my mail in a while.

    Attachments lost This app is really bad. When I forward an email that has attachments it seems to just drop the attachments off from the email and my recipient doesn't receive them. It used to be fine but for the last 2 months its been doing this and there doesn't seem to be fixed in place. This is ridiculous

    Why do I ALWAYS have to delete emails 3 or 4 times from the app before they actually delete? Why does the app not show all new emails at once? It has to be refreshed numerous times to show all new emails.

    I have been with Yahoo mail since I created my e-mail address. That's many years ago. I won't change because I enjoy the services I get. It's second to none. Thanks Yahoo.

    I highly dislike the gender biased dating ads! Stop posting them or give the ability to specifically filter ads like FB does.

    I use Yahoo for my junk mail and it makes it easy to receive email and delete what I don't need right away with a quick swipe. It also deletes them from the server as well so I don't have to go back on a computer to actually delete them from my list.

    Probably the only email app that has disabled badges on some devices so you can't see how many unread emails you have. Stupid...

    Don't like their News Reporting, and the email is sporadic sometimes miss names emails or combines messages with other contacts or loses messages with in a conversation.

    No notifications! Stopped getting notifications on my phone when I have mail even though my settings are set up for it. Always have to go to the page to check for new mail. Not happy with this issue!

    Just ok The app freezes frequently when you open it. Gives you about 30 sec to do something else before you go back to your mail. It's better than it used to be though. Past versions would delete email that I didn't click on. Lovely, I know.

    Update Latest update broke ymail even more. Have sent logs, etc to yahoo, but still no fix so far. Notifications don't work, trying to update a folder takes forever if it even updates. Have installed and just added yahoo back as an account on my phone

    Great app Gets me my email all the time the only drawback is that it doesn't always refresh how many emails that you have. I might have checked them on computer then go out and check and says that I still have 20 email but in reality only have 3. When app finally opens it does show the 3 that I do have.

    Please fix it! I have 4 accounts, one account is okay n has no problem but I cant open my inbox, spam, etc in my other three accounts! why does this thing happen after I updated it! The emails are so important for me so please fix it immediately! thanks

    My boyfriend is in Germany. I can send audios and (decent) clips to him whenever I like. Otherwise he has to call me and it's expensive when he does...thanks!

    I was having trouble with my Email and as soon as I down loaded this app they fixed my account... I'm so thankful..looking forward to better faster results in my communications on line... Love the freshing... I feel more organised and restored my email activity... Thanks Yahoo!

    Can someone please explain to me how to fix the continuity of just going to the next email after deleting an email. If I move to folder or delete an email automatically takes me back to inbox... waste of time. Use to just move on to next email but after last few updates it won't anymore.

    Will not allow me to access one of my yahoo accounts, keeps saying "Error 15". No legitimate email or telephone number available to contact anyone. Totally disconnected from my content 😠😤

    It"s good except I am asked to change my password often in order to get re-connected. And no matter what I enter, it causes incorrect. I know some people lie but we are not all liars. I have had the same account for 9 years

    Before the era of Android smart phone I use Yahoo mail for my primary email address, now on Android smart phone era, I use Gmail for my primary email address. But the usage of this two email addresses are great complete each other... side by side.. when one system are down or I forget the password, the one will support the other

    I not happy with this app or other for that matter. Due to anything you want to access you have to allow access to your pictures and messages. There's no confidentiality. I don't like that.

    Why hide tools At one point it was easy to create a group for different purposes. When you email the same group of people several times it was an easier way to populate them and name it. Now it is difficult to create this, edit this, and find it. Please bring that functionality back

    What gives? Gave it one star 'cause that's the worst option. Looks like a regular email setup but acts like an irrational child. Held my outgoing messages for quite awhile. When I finally found three more that were being held the icon just kept cycling. DON'T USE, you've been warned!!!

    I just wish I could put the emails in the order I want...not just date. I just down loaded the update... Hoping it is better. I would like to put in alpha order or search only for the inbox or specific folder. So far has dropped to stars. Unable to send any emails with attachments. Will update if improves.
